Basic Suturing Workshop with Dr. Villaflor

This afternoon we had a very high yield workshop on Basic Suturing with Dr. Bernadette Villaflor ☺️ We enjoyed learning the various methods of dermatologic surgery and practicing the essential suturing techniques that will equip us to serve our patients with the best possible care.  

Thank you Dr Villaflor and Dr Des Bautista for imparting your wisdom and knowledge with us residents. We are truly grateful that we get honest our skills and become more well-rounded residents.☺️

Acne Surgery and Chemical Peel Workshop

On January 17, 2024, the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Inc. residents were taught the basics of acne surgery and the various types and uses of chemical peels in a workshop with Dr. Enrizza Pua-Factor.

Thank you, Dr. Pua-Factor for teaching us  invaluable techniques and knowledge needed for us residents. Your expertise and patience made the learning process enjoyable for all of us, and we feel more confident in our skills! ☺️ Thank you, SCFI for always helping us hone our skills to better serve our patients.

Residents and Mentors Acquaintance Party 2024

Last January 7, 2024, the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Inc. Residents and Mentors kickstarted the year with an acquaintance party at Sip and Gogh and ended the day with a hearty dinner at Wow Cow Hotpot.

It was a Sunday well spent to reset the week. Thank you doctors for joining us as we look forward to a new year ahead.

SCFI Christmas Party 2023: No Time to Siesta, It’s Time to Fiesta!

Last December 6, 2023, the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Inc. celebrated its annual Christmas party entitled, “No Time to Siesta, It’s Time to Fiesta!” It was a night of laughter, friendship, and love. Congratulations to our graduating seniors and welcome to our incoming residents. Muchisimas gracias to everyone for joining us and making it a night to remember! Happy Holidays!

Basic Nail Surgery Workshop

On December 5, 2023, SCFI residents were taught high yield nail surgery techniques in a workshop by Dra Villaflor. Thank you Dra Villaflor for sharing your knowledge and guiding us perform these procedures. Indeed, this is a very interesting topic and we are now more confident to perform these learnings for our charity patients ☺️
