JRRMMC Dermatology 16th Annual Basic Dermatology and Surgery Course and Workshop

On February 3-4, 2023, residents of the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Inc. attended the JRRMMC Dermatology 16th Annual Basic Dermatology and Surgery Course and Workshop entitled, “Back to the Suture.” We are grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the diverse field of dermatologic surgery, and we are thankful to listen to experts of the field and hone our surgical skills. We will truly use what we learned to better serve our patients.

Acne Surgery and Chemical Peels Workshop

This January 27, 2023, the residents of Skin & Cancer Foundation, Inc did their Acne Surgery and Chemical Peels workshop by Dr. Enrizza Pua-Factor. Through her guidance, the residents have been equipped with knowledge on how to perform basic dermatologic procedures to better care for our acne patients.

World Psoriasis Day 2022: STOP THE STIGMA NOW!

Last October 23, 2022, the Skin and Cancer Foundation Inc. in association with the Philippine Dermatological Society and Psoriasis Philippines, celebrated World Psoriasis Day 2022 entitled “STOP THE STIGMA NOW!: United we tackle mental health”. The day started with a Fun Walk along Roxas Boulevard, followed by a program at the San Andres Sports Complex Covered Court. It was a great way to increase awareness to Psoriasis  and show support to all our dear patients battling this disease. 

Psoriasis may have many challenges both physically and mentally. Many people with psoriatic disease continue to face unmet needs and discrimination. But united, we can help stop the stigma.
